He is survived by: his wife Jean Ellen Bouts; his children, Jennifer Lee Boyd (Bill) of Kirkland, Washington and Bruce Robert Bouts of McDonough; his siblings, Robert James Bouts of Sterling Heights, Michigan and Rebecca Elaine Doetsch (Larry) of Royal Oaks, Michigan; and his siblings' children, Catherine Bouts and Michael Bouts. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
