She was predeceased by: her husband James E. Cobb; and her parents, Guy B. and Susie Tanner. She is survived by: her daughter Karol Sherling (Mark) of McDonough; her siblings, Kenneth Tanner (Janet) of Hampton and Linda Corbett of Jackson; and her grandchildren, Andrew Sherling, Yaroslav Sherling, Madeline Sherling and Alyssa Sherling.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to First Baptist Church Jonesboro, P.O. Box 773 Jonesboro, GA 30237 in memory of Carolyn Cobb.
