She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Lewis Hobgood and Annie Alice Bohannon Hobgood; her husband Waldermar Zimmerman; her son William "Billy" Henry Thomas Jr.; and her siblings, Carl Hobgood, Clyde Hobgood, Faye Hobgood, Inez Duke, Carmen Atkins and Mary Ruth Creed.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Gayle Griffith, Barbara Ann Jenkerson (Robert), Paulette Holder and Michael Wayne Zimmerman (Pixie); her grandchildren, Richard, Joel, David, Christina and Crystal; her great grandchildren, Ashley, Austin, Megan, Jacob, Isaac, Garrett, Hogan, Braden and Collin; her great great grandchildren, Brielle and Emmy; and her sibling's children, Gene Duke, Barbara Duke Kelly, Jerry Duke, Ronnie Duke and Linda Satterfield. She is also survived by several other nieces, nephews.
