He was predeceased by: his wife Alice White Selman; his parents, Edward Selman and Marie Seitz Selman; and his grandchildren, Timothy, Bryan Rose, David Leon Gibson, Jr., Don and Irma G. Selman.
He is survived by: his children, Beverly Rose (Marvin) of McDonough, Georgia, Donna Selman Jones of Conyers, Georgia, Wayne Selman Hampton (Sherrie), Kathy Selman (Steve) of Texas, Connie Selman of Williamson, Georgia, David Gibson (Holly) of Ashburn and Lynn Gibson of Jackson, Georgia. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
