He is survived by: his children, James Whitfield, Brian Whitfield and Fayedrian McCoy; his brothers, Charles Whitfield (Roxanne), Robert Whitfield (Mary) and Mike Whitfield; and his sister-in-law Scherri Whitfield. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
