With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Effie Lou Davis (McDonough, Georgia), who passed away on February 29, 2020 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathaniel "Buddy" Harris, Sr. and Lilla Holland Harris; her husband George E. Davis; her daughter Lilla Ruth Davis; and her siblings, Ned Harris, Charlie F. Harris and Mary Harris Burns.

She is survived by: her children, Nellie L. Taylor, Olivia Roseberry (Eddie), James Davis (Glenda), Maggie Davis and Lester Davis Sr.; her siblings, Annie E Harris, Willie L. Harris (Florence) and Nathaniel Harris Jr. (Elise); her sisters-in-law, Loreen Davis and Annie Sue Harris; her brother Nathan Davis (Elizabeth); and her friend Albert Tomlinson. She is also survived by 17 Grand-children, 45 great-grandchildren and 22 great great grandchildren.
