He was predeceased by: his parent Angelika Manke Sauerbrey. He is survived by: his parent Oscar Sauerbrey; his wife Janot Sauerbrey of McDonough; his children, Gayla Gerard (Paul) of Alaska, Greta Steber of Fort Collins, Colorado and Karl Sauerbrey of McDonough; and his brother Otto Sauerbrey (Nancy) of Orange Beach. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
