He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Ann Triplett of McDonough, Ronald Dale Triplett of Joneboro and Gregory Dean Triplett of McDonough; his siblings, Lois Phillips of Navarre, FL, William Scott Triplett, Jr of Ravenswood, WV, Jake Triplett of Clay, WV, Charles Triplett of Warner Robins and Russell Triplett of Ravenswood, WV; his grandchildren, Brandy Irvin, Michael Francis Triplett and Alison Elaine Triplett; and his great grandchildren, Caroline Grace Childers, Andrew Azbury Childers and Makayla Ann Childers. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
