She was predeceased by: her father Jimmy Green Freeman Sr.; and her grandfather John Ed. She is survived by: her mother Lena Byrd (Juria); her husband Eddie Lee Ellis; her daughter Tamika Hopson; her grandson Demarcus Hopson; her siblings, Katie Murry, Betty Hardy, Minister Mary Ann Willingham (Willie), Jimmy Green Freeman Jr. and Gordon Freeman (Willene); her mother-in-law Georgia Mae Ellis; her siblings-in-law, Georgia Lee Thaxton (Johnny), Vanessa Thomas (Alonza), Nathaniel Ellis (Lena) and Alfonso Ellis; her aunt Sarah Brassell; and her friend Pamela Graham. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
