It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ira Evans Hadaway of McDonough, Georgia, born in Lumpkin, Georgia, who passed away on March 7, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hadaway and Ruth Hadaway; and his wife Mary Jean Geiger Hadaway. He is survived by: his children, Linda Cathey (Jeff) of Wichita, KS, James Benjamin Hadaway (Sharron) of Huntsville, AL and Timothy Hadaway (Kay) of Hampton, GA.; his grandchildren, Jonathan Cathey (Abby), Benjamin Cathey, Jacob Cathey, Mallory Hadaway, Evan Hadaway, Kelly Hadaway and Ciara Hadaway; his siblings, Beth Thomaston (Troy) of McDonough and Billy Hadaway (Rita) of Covington; and his great grandchildren, Cooper and Avonlea.
