It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James B. Bennett of McDonough, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on August 1, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Annie Christine Bennett; his parents, Ennis Bennett and Maude Bennett; his son James Anthony "Tony" Bennett; his grandchildren, Brian Workman and Madison Ogletree; and his siblings, Travis Bennett and Collen Scarlet.
He is survived by: his daughters, Diane Tinney of Stockbridge and Melissa Ogletree of McDonough; and his grandchildren, Frankie Kitchens (Heather), James Workman, Christy Johnson (Paul), Chelsea Tinney, Thomas Bennett (Pam), Timothy Bennett (Melissa), Tiffany Bennett and Chrissy Ogletree. He is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
