He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Adams Sr. and Florence Adams; his wife Betty M. Adams; and his siblings-in-law, Lois Edmondson and Harold McDuffie.
He is survived by: his daughter Denise; his son-in-law Franklin Roach; his grandson Caleb; his granddaughter-in-law Kathryn Roach; his sister Joyce Noble; and his siblings-in-law, Robert McDuffie (Kaye) and Hazel Sineni. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
