James Raymond Bankston Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Raymond Bankston (McDonough, Georgia), who passed away on May 21, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace O. Bankston and Dollie Bankston (Shiver); his siblings, Royce Bankston and Carolyn Willis (Bankston); and his brother-in-law Woodie Chapman.

He is survived by: his wife Linda; and his children, Randy Bankston (Shirley) of Locust Grove, GA and Janet Riley (Robert) of Jacksonville, FL. He is also survived by six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; siblings; and many extended family members, loving neighbors, and lifelong friends.
