He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Barber and Louise Garner; his wife Sandra Ellen Alexander; and his daughter Connie Maddox. He is survived by: his son David Wayne Barber of McDonough; his granddaughters, Brandi Berry (Clifford) of Hampton, Hannah Kilcrease of Griffin and Amber Maddox (Brandon) of Griffin; his brother Eddie Hopper of McDonough; his sister-in-law Linda Hopper of Hampton; and his great grandchildren, Aubri Barber, Emalyn Berry and A. J. Bell.
