It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeffrey Alexander Jakes of McDonough, Georgia, who passed away on August 30, 2021, at the age of 42, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Hubert Tanksley, Helen Hagan Tanksley, Marion Alexander Jakes and Jean Jakes; and his nephews, William Thompson and George Stone.
He is survived by: his wife Stacie Jakes; his children, Joseph Hagan Jakes and Emerson "Emma" Claire Stone Jakes of McDonough; his mother Sue Jakes of Tyrone; his siblings, Jessica Davis (Mark) of Temple, Jonathan Jakes (Leah) of London, England and Joanna Thompson (Brett) of Raleigh, N. C.; his siblings' children, Caleb Davis, Connor Davis, Cara Davis, Jude Jakes, Jubilee Jakes, Magdalene Thompson, Deacon Thompson and Campbell Thompson; his parents-in-law, Joe and Bonnie Stone of Sharpsburg; his siblings-in-law, Andrew Stone (Lauren) of Marietta, Daniel Stone (Odette) of Fayetteville and Candace Stone of Sharpsburg; and his nieces, Malley Stone and Elle Stone. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and extended family.
