He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Wilkerson and Jimmy Wilkerson, Sr.; and his sister Julie Lanier. He is survived by: his brother Rick Wilkerson; his sister-in-law Cindy; his sister Susan Anderson; his brother-in-law David; his brother Tommy Wilkerson; his sister-in-law Amber; his siblings' children, Tyler Wilkerson, Natalie Wilkerson Dupree and Nicholas Lanier; and his great-nieces, Camryn Dupree and Ava Lanier.
