It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawson Chafin (McDonough, Georgia), who passed away on February 28, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lawson Chafin to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his sisters, Dorothy Hood and Martha Voigt. He is survived by: his daughters, Lynn Carden (Mike) of Huntsville, Laurie Brannan (Gray) of Stockbridge and Suzanne Kelley (Ronald) of McDonough; and his grandchildren, Amy Dilocker (Jason), Philip Carden, Matthew Brannan (Kelly) and Patrick Kelley (Lindsey). He is also survived by seven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Kelley Presbyterian Church.
