He was predeceased by: his parents, Lovell Loran and Lillian Louisa Ewing Chapman; his former wife Sara Jo Greenway Chapman; his children, Sharon Chapman, Gary Chapman and Lee Spence; and his siblings, George Orr, Jackson Orr and Frances Orr Marbut.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Chapman; his daughters, Jo Ann Holbrook (Daniel) and Janet Van Wie (Wayne); his stepdaughters, Phyllis Malone and Nora Spence; his sisters-in-law, Pat Orr and Louise Orr; and his close friend Lucy. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
