He is survived by: his wife Juana Mejia; his children, MaShanda Thompson of Thomaston, GA, Maner Thompson, Jr. (Chandra) of McDonough, GA, Elizabeth Howard (Frank) of McDonough, GA, Christopher Walker (Yolita) of Detroit, MI, Vanessa Thompson, Bronx of New York, Michael Thompson, Oscar Thompson of Virginia Beach, VA and Darlene Cowell-Pettway (Kirieff); his sister Kitty Darlene Thompson of Thomaston, GA; and his close friend Ruth Garcia Masonet of McDonough, GA.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
