She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudean Stansell and Mattie Bell Howard Stansell; her husband Marvin Sledge; her daughter Theresa Greer; and her siblings, Conally Stansell, Linda Teems, Lynn Daniels, Ronnie Stansell, Jacqueline Wright and Shirley Nelson.

She is survived by: her grandson Christy Greer of Barnesville; her great grandchildren, William and Hayden Greer; and her siblings, Larry Stansell of Hampton, Sue Seymour of Hampton and Ginnie Fisher of Griffin.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are asked to be made to the Glen Haven Baptist Church Building Fund.
