He is survived by: his wife Sandra Hite Thomas; his son Michael James Thomas, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Kenzie Thomas of McDonough, GA; his son Petty Officer Zachary Thomas; his grandchildren, Weston, Ava Lynn and Jaxson; his aunt Colleen Holloway; his mother-in-law Pat Hite; and his siblings-in-law, Wanda Teal, Wayne Teal, Steven Hite and Pam Hite. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews, and lifelong friends.
