He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Toppins and Beatrice Toppins; his former wife Nancy Toppins; his sisters, Joyce Baldwin (Robert) and Diane Mangold (David); and his brothers-in-law, Leroy Williams and Tom Price.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor J. Toppins; his children, Lynda Dunton (Steve), Ron Toppins (Melody) and Amy Belanger; his stepchildren, Sandy Scharf (Peter), Kenneth Davis (Lisa) and Steve Davis (Melissa); his grandchildren, Allyson Hamilton (Scott), Adam Dunton (Ladson), Erin Dunton, Gary Wayne Birdwell, Alan Birdwell, Scott Belanger, Luke Belanger and Jenna Belanger; his stepgrandchildren, Jonathon Scharf, Adam Scharf, Elizabeth Scharf, Abby Davis, Charlie Davis, Ryan Davis (Kathleen), Kelli Davis and Ashli Davis; and his sisters, Doris Williams and Mary Lou Price. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
