He is survived by: his wife Mary Sims; his children, Wayne Sims of McDonough and Debbie Long (Don) of Milledgeville; his sister-in-law Ellen Sims of McDonough; his grandchildren, Amber Roberts (Brad) of Eatonton and Allen Long of Milledgeville; and his great grandchildren, Blake and Abigail Roberts of Eatonton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
