He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Lozano Acevedo and Julio Garibay. He is survived by: his wife Sara Garcia Garibay; his children, Pedro Garibay, Jr. (Josephine), Margie Hoaglin (Vince), Melissa Cruz (Juan) and Lily Smiley (Darren); and his brother Tony Acevedo. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
