She was predeceased by: her parents, Cesar Cooper and Emma Chance Cooper; her husbands, Gussie Alvin (Ned) and Colonel Johnson; and her son Edgar Alvin.
She is survived by: her children, James Cooper of Metter, Georgia, Danforth Alvin (Liz) of Metter, Georgia, Ronnie Alvin of Metter, Georgia and Debra Alvin of Leesburg, Florida; her sister Dora White of Metter, Georgia; and her stepdaughter Maureen Johnson of Philadelphia. She is also survived by many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
