She is survived by: her siblings, Eugene Powell (Georgia) of Lincolnton and Susan Blackwell; her sons, Joseph M. Sparks and Henry C. Sparks III; her grandchildren, Kristin Hammett, Kandice Ferris, Julie Batchelor, Joseph Sparks Jr. and Ryan Sparks; and her great grandchildren, Alyssa Julien, Payton Hammett, Tucker Hammett, Evelyn Mae Ferris, John Henry Ferris and Tyndall Batchelor. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
