He is survived by: his wife Lulawease Tyler of Metter, Georgia; his children, Tomeka Tyler Dixon (Michael) of Cairo, Renee Summerlin of Cincinnati, Wendell Harvey of Statesboro and Dominique Coney of Metter, Georgia; his grandchildren, Kendill Griffin (Alexis) of Metter, Kimbra Griffin of Statesboro, Michael Dixon, Jr. of Cairo, Tiffany Dixon of Tallahassee and Barry Dixon of Panama City, Florida; his great grandchildren, KaMara, Kayden, Kaelynn and Khloe; his sister Frankie L. Mercer of Jacksonville, Florida; his aunt Thelma Byrd of Metter, Georgia; and his siblings-in-law, Joe Dekle of Miami, Robert Dekle of Cincinnati, Jack Dekle of Metter, Roosevelt Dekle (Marilyn) of Miami, Larry Dekle of Miami, Lois Dekle of Miami, Rhoda Wadley (Paul) of Swainsboro, Grace Joiner (Joe) of Metter, Maggie Bailey of Miami and Anna Marie Spratling of Metter, Georgia. He is also survived by grandchildren and fifteen additional great-grandchildren; and a host loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
