She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James B Deal and Wilma Oliver Deal; her son Timothy Brown; her brothers, Tony L. Oliver and James R. Deal; her grandsons, Samuel Austin Matteson and Bradley Nevaeh Clifton; her close friend Charles Ray Wilkes; her children, Henry Brown (Lindsay Catherine Byard) of Myrtle Beach, Jamie Deal (Felicia) of Metter and Janet Matteson (Gary Moore, Jr) of Statesboro; her sisters, Billie Jean Deal of Statesboro and Genia Oliver of Statesboro; and her children, Christy and Brian Brown. She was also cherished by several grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
