She was predeceased by: her parents, Porter Edwards and Gloria Edwards; and her brother James Edwards. She is survived by: her daughters, Deirdre Brinson-Brown (Stan) of Lawrenceville, Darlene Brinson-Moore (Michael) of Albany, Daphne Brinson-Strobridge (Freddie) of Swainsboro and Denise Brinson-Heard (Damon) of Dunwoody, Georgia; her husband George Brinson, Jr. of Swainsboro, Georgia; and her siblings, Dorothy Gillis, Eddie Edwards of Lexsy, Georgia and George Edwards (Mary) of Lexsy, Georgia. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
