The memory of Norma Jones of Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on November 14, 2025 at the age of 85, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the vast expanse of eternity, Norma shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Norma farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Roy Jones and Ila Mae Denton Jones; and her brother Milas Guthrie Jones (Barbara). She is survived by: her sisters, Juanette Jones Blalock and Rachel Jones Kohne; her nieces, Anita Averette (Dan) and Evelyn Guilfoyle (Glenn); and her friend Laura Blake. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Kennedy Funeral Home - Hooks Chapel (223 SW Broad St, Metter, GA 30439). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Thain Cemetery N Lewis.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Pruitt Health Hospice in honor of Ms. Jones.
