It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Trudie Brantley of Metter, Georgia, born in Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on January 15, 2021, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ray Calhoun and Nona L. Pardue Calhoun; and her husband Ronnie Brantley. She is survived by: her children, John Bishop, Tabitha Bishop (Payton Soles) of Metter and Christina Nash (Nick) of Augusta; her stepdaughters, Jenny Mullis (Darrell), Rebecca Brantley and Crystal Lee (Jason); her siblings, William "Troy" Poteat (Teresa) of Augusta, Timothy "Timbo" Calhoun (Janie) of Augusta, Preston Calhoun (Nancy) of Stapleton, Grace Karp of Woodstock, Beverly Calhoun of Savannah, Hazel Brotherton of Florida and Penny Barlow (Tony) of Blythe; and her sisters-in-law, Dianne Tucker (Greg) of Metter and Melissa Jones Floyd. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Chapman Funeral Home, 427 North Main St., Swainsboro, GA.
