He was predeceased by : his parents, Vera Davis Whitton and Andrew Jackson Whitton, Sr.; and his brother Andrew Jackson Whitton, Jr.. He is survived by : his wife Shirley Sheldon Whitton; his children, Kenneth Whitton, Jr., Melissa Whitton and Debra Whitton; his granddaughter Ariana Whitton; and his sister Jean W. Ingram. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
