She was predeceased by : her parents, Clifford Cater Wright Sr. and Katie Lou Shelton; her husband David Franklin Chambers; her grandson Kristopher David Snipes; and her siblings, Lila Mills, Agnes Walker Weiland, Katherine Riley Stevens, Talmadge Wright, Carl Wright and Clifford Carter Wright Jr..

She is survived by : her daughters, Pat Snipes of Midland, GA and Vicki Johnson (Bob) of Ada, Oklahoma; and her siblings-in-law, Mildred Wright and Maynard Chambers. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
