She was predeceased by : her parents, Hershel Kittle and Claudia Smith Kittle; her husband Gabriel Ring; her brother Lawrence Kittle; and her son-in-law Paul Matthews.

She is survived by : her daughters, Anita Matthews of Phenix City, AL, Ann Thombley (Joe) of Opelika, AL and Sharon Clark (Ray) of Midland, GA; her sisters, Jo Merritt (Billy) of Tifton, GA and Florence Latham of Fitzgerald, GA; her sister-in-law Elizabeth Kittle of Mystic, GA; and her grandchildren, Wayne Corbitt (Vanessa), Brian Corbitt (Laura), Nikki Parish, Shawn Clark (Laura), Olivia Thombley, Trey Thombley, Michelle Cobb, Tommy Clark (Matt) and Robbie Clark (Heather). She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
