It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Don Powell of Midville, Georgia, born in Millen, Georgia, who passed away on November 14, 2020, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Louise Jenkins Powell. He is survived by: his children, Ashley Lanier Powell (Stephanie) of Metter, John Wesley Powell of Dearborn, MI and Jessica Purvis (Michael) of Swainsboro; his grandchildren, Gavin Powell, Ashton Powell, Logan Creamer, Nicholas Purvis, Mason Tanner and Maddie Horn; and his sisters, Sharon Peebles (Steve) of Adrian, Janet Powell of Summertown and Angie Coleman of Summertown. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
