It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane Brooks Silva of Milledgeville, Georgia, born in Baldwin, Georgia, who passed away on January 29, 2021, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Erskin Brooks, Sr. and Georgia Miller Brooks; her husband Manuel Melvin Silva; and her brother Horace Brooks. She is survived by: her sibling's children, Glenda Kohlhagen (Glenn) and Ronnie Brooks; and her sister-in-law Geneva Brooks. She is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
