He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Smith and Vivian Askew Smith; and his siblings, Vivian Jean Roberts and Roy M. Smith. He is survived by: his wife Alice Pounds Smith of Sparta; his daughter Debbie Williams (Edward) of Macon; his grandchildren, Alison Wallace (Dave) and Edward L. Williams, IV (Elizabeth); and his great grandchild Lennon Wallace.
