She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Grady and Mabel Hickman Lanier; and her siblings, Opal Lanier Hall, Fannie Pearl Lanier, Ella Lanier Johnson, Henry Grady Lanier, Jr. and Reamer Randel Lanier.

She is survived by : her husband Jimmy R. Phillips of Millen; her children, Scott Lanier Phillips (Lori) of Camden and LeAnn Phillips Snellgrove (Matt); and her granddaughters, Emily Anne Gaudry of Nunez, Lelah Elizabeth Snellgrove of Nunez and Mattie Grace Snellgrove of Nunez. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
