He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lisa Helander; his mother Pearl Helander; his children, Jason Daniel Helander, Shane (Katie Pilcher) and Christy; his son-in-law Markus Passmore; his siblings, Leroy Helander, John (Amy Wickes), Carla (Kevin Kerns) and Kathy Wickes (Tana Green); and his grandchildren, Anna Kae Pilcher, Lennon Pilcher, Tavien Bush, Jordan Bush, Tyler Pilcher and Ja'Kobe Spencer. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
