He was predeceased by : his parents, Fred Lee Padgett and Elizabeth Filipek Padgett. He is survived by : his wife Benita Jean Butts Padgett; his children, Amber (Michael Suman), Lynsey (David Goodno), Roy Franklin Padgett, Jr., Kimberly (Jeff Weaver) and Christine Smith; his grandchildren, Jason Padgett, Coleman Padgett, Eli Padgett, Sydney Suman, Leora Suman, Samantha Weaver, Keith Weaver, Libby West, Jacob Weaver, Carson Weaver and Jadiah Smith; his great grandchildren, Valerie, Madison, Raelynn, Kayden and Ella; and his brother Jake Padgett.
