She was predeceased by : her father Howard Harvey Hicks, Jr.; her sons, Nathan Mashburn and Steven Hicks; and her siblings, James Michael Hicks, William Scott Hicks and Angela Michelle Rhodes.

She is survived by : her children, Maranda Hicks and Brandon Hicks; her mother Mary Jane Gibbs; her grandchildren, Kayla Henley, Amariana Hicks, Brantley Elkins and Jaxon Elkins; and her brother Howard David Hicks.
