It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Thomas of Morganton, Georgia, who passed away on April 20, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles F. Hughes and Laura Pendergrass Hughes; her husband Raymond Thomas; her daughter Linda; her son-in-law Ray Addington; her sons, Steve Thomas and Larry Jr. Thomas; her daughter-in-law Rhonda Thomas; and her siblings, Loyce Hughes, Clories Hughes, Don Hughes, Bernice Walden, Trilvia Rose, Thelma Hughes and Venes Hughes.
She is survived by: her children, JoAnn (Don McClure), Gail (Larry Sutton) and Ronald Raymond Thomas; her daughter-in-law Gigi Thomas; and her brother Charles E. Hughes. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and five great great-grandchildren.
