We are sad to announce that on July 25, 2025, at the age of 79, Carolyn Ann McMurphy Gibson of Moultrie, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James William "Jake" McMurphy and Mary Louise Cox McMurphy; her daughters, Margaret Ann Reynolds and Carol Denise Calloway; and her siblings, Wilma Jean Williams, Effie Irene Gibson, Shelia Dianne Brooks, Gary Lamar McMurphy, Larry Eugene McMurphy and Michael Allen McMurphy.
She is survived by: her husband Jack Wayne Gibson of Moultrie; her sons, John Anthony Reynolds of Moultrie and Bobby Howell Reynolds (Rhonda) of Moultrie; and her siblings, Betty Lou (Pope), James Ronnie (Kathy McMurphy), Bobbie Jean McCook, Virginia Ann (Joey Meads), Harold Junior (Debbie McMurphy) and Leonard Craig (Dana McMurphy). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Baker Funeral Home & Crematory (2222 GA-37, Moultrie, GA 31788). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
