She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmie Stephen Burgess, Sr. and Lillie Giles Burgess; her husband Paul Allen Sauls, Sr.; her daughter Rebecca Sauls Moore; and her siblings, James Curtis Burgess, Marvin Jackson Burgess, Roy Everett Burgess, Lena Burgess and Eleanor Burgess.
She is survived by: her son Paul Allen Sauls, Jr. (Sandra) of Dothan, Alabama; her grandchildren, Angela Kaye Sauls, Jacob Sauls, Caleb Sauls, Carly Moore Redding (Brice), Hannah Moore and Stephen Moore (Carolina); her great grandchild William Moore; her brother Jimmie Burgess (Wanda) of Texas; and her close friend Mary Hall of Moultrie.
