She is survived by: her sons, James Douglas "Doug" Peters, Jr. (Wendy) of Dalton and Daniel Hodges Peters (Susanne) of McDonough; her grandchildren, Brandon Peters (Nicki), Spencer Peters (Taylor), Ashleigh Peters Johnson (Andrew), Josh Peters, Will Peters (Hannah) and Ashton Peters; her great grandchildren, Hudson Peters, Caden Peters and Sophia Grace Peters; her brother Edgar Eugene "Gene" Hodges, III of Lakeland, Florida; and her nieces and nephews, Michael Tucker, Elizabeth Prokuski Tucker, Robert Tucker (Anna) and Janet Rebecca "J. R." Melton.
