It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Arthur Keene (Nahunta, Georgia), born in Waycross, Georgia, who passed away on April 11, 2020, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Keen, Sr. and Gaynell Highsmith Keene; and his brother Alton Keene. He is survived by: his son Trey; his daughter-in-law Amanda Keene of Raybon; his daughter Tabbitha; his son-in-law Jason Nowling of Raybon; his grandchildren, Allen Edholm, Sierra Edholm, Jesalyn Keene, Aullie Keene, Mason Edholm, Joanna Keene, Lincoln Nowling and Lawson Nowling; and his sisters, Ann Keene of Waynesville and Angela Keene of Waynesville. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Due to COVID-19, the family will be having a private graveside service Monday (April 13, 2020) at Keene Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be sent to the Gap House Ministries, 18629 Hwy 82 Nahunta, GA 31553.
