He was predeceased by: his parents, Babe Ruth "Boots" Hayes, Sr. and Bertie Lou Griffin Hayes. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Ann Albritton Hayes of Nahunta; his children, David Kyle Hayes of Nahunta and Kristy O'Neal (Timmy) of Hickox; his grandchildren, Alyssa O'Neal Wilson (Alex), Matthew O'Neal, Mark O'neal, Kyler Hayes, Hunter Hayes and Oakley Hayes; his great grandchildren, Anna Gray Wilson and Amelia Kate Wilson; and his siblings, Steve Hayes (Delinda) of Waynesville, B. R and Vicky Hayes Allen of Screven.
