He was predeceased by : his parents, Mack Berry Whetsell and Judith Leorna Boyd Whetsell. He is survived by : his sons, David Whetsell of Nahunta, Johnny Whetsell of Nahunta, Thomas Whetsell of Nahunta and Steven Whetsell of Nahunta; his grandchildren, Alyssa Michelle Whetsell and Cash Carter Whetsell; and his siblings, Mack (Karen Whetsell), Edward Scott (Nicole Whetsell), Carolann (Mike Straughn) and Debra Poole.
