He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlie Ewell Durrance and Lillie Mae Connell; his siblings, Lucille Sellars and Leon Durrance; and his stepmother Victoria Durrance.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Fender Durrance of Nashville; his son Rev. Mark Swain (Paige) of Nashville; his granddaughter Candler Brogdon (Carter) of Valdosta; and his sisters, Christine Shellhouse (Jack) of Oxford, Mary Willene Kalick (Bill) of Tuscon, AZ and Martha Nell Dalhouse of Metaire, LA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
