He is survived by : his spouse Karen C. Spell of Naylor; his children, Brenda Highsmith (Randy) of Naylor, Randall Gary Spell, Jr. (Randy) of Lake Park and Jason J. Spell (Wendy) of Lake Park; his grandchildren, Katelyn Elder, Holden Highsmith, Karli Highsmith, Crystal Seeger, Ashli Dasher, Bethany Spell, Noah Spell and Isaac Spell; and his sister Sondra Carter.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Morningside Baptist Church of Valdosta.
